图式理论在高职英语阅读教学中的应用

摘    要:在高职院校中,学生的英语水平总体不是很高。传统的教学模式置教师于教学的中心位置,控制着课堂上的一切内容。现在,英语教学慢慢改变为以学习者为中心,教师应该采取更为有效的教学方法。图式理论在当代被认为是在提高阅读技能方面最为有效的。文章主要从以下几个方面进行了研究:图式理论能够大大地提高学生的阅读能力;语言图式在提高学生的阅读能力方面效果最显著,其次为内容图式。

Abstract:At higher vocational colleges.The students are not so good at English.As the traditional comprehension practices place the teacher firmly at the centre of the classroom,all power and control are in the hands of the teachers.As language teaching has become more learner-focused,teachers should adapt to the efficient teaching method.Schema theory is regarded as the most efficient and reasonable one.This paper has made the following studies: schema theory can improve students' reading competence greatly;the effect of linguistic schema in improving comprehension is the most significant,then the content schema.
