| Abstract: | A new method of knowledge acquisition, called spiral model, is designed according to the spiral method for developing software, which helps acquire knowledge from experts and so is specially adapted to engineering design field, An example shows how the knowledge of residential disfrict planning is acquired, and a expert system of residential district planning is built. |
