| Abstract: | Drawing a proper mechanical model and boundary condition from the edge joint of a giant transformer fuel tank is discussed and finite element calculation is made in the paper. These analytical results will undoubedly be useful for studying the strength of a gaint transformer fuel tank both as a whole and only as upper or lower part. |
