The purpose is to explore the path of modern Chinese furniture design under the influence of innovative ideas. Based on the two phenomena of copying tradition and blind westernization in the current furniture market, this paper analysis of its important value of modern innovation combining with the disadvantages of both lead to innovation trend of Chinese style furniture and combining the characteristics of the modelling of the traditional Chinese style furniture, decoration and its nationality, artistic expression. Then from the ideas, emotions, culture, technology and other details, this paper explores modern Chinese style furniture innovation design development direction. Finally from the depth of traditional culture, actively learning from the western experience, meeting the demand of the function of the audience, and the pursuit of the minimalist design mode, this paper summarizes and discusses the innovation of modern Chinese style furniture design path.
