Review of Global Mining Policies and Management in 2019

The world mining market was characterized by turbulence in 2019. Based on the systematic analysis of the changes of global mining laws, regulations, policies and management situation, the conclusions are drawn as follows: About twenty countries have been involved in the revision of mining law. While more and more countries persisted in environmental protection, di.erent measures including accelerating the examination and approval, and relaxing the access of foreign investment were formulated to encourage mining investment positively in order to promote exploration and exploitation of mineral resources. Some countries took the initiative and guaranteed more revenue for the government and local communities by increasing royalty ratios or promoting the ful.llment of social responsibility and so on.
