Abstract:Quinolones are broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs, excellent bioavailability and tolerance. They not only have a bactericidal effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, but also have antifungal and antiviral activity. Therefore, they are widely used in the treatment of bacterial infection in the process of livestock and poultry breeding in veterinary clinic. With food safety and veterinary drug residues getting more and more public attention, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring of quinolones residues in animal food. This paper reviewed the main detection methods for quinolone drug residues, including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, high performance liquid chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, capillary electrophoresis, colorimetric method etc, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of various methods, and prospected the detection technology of quinolone residues in animal food, aiming to provide a reference method for residue monitoring.
