Abstract:This work describes the possibility of using jarosite processing waste as one of the components of new construction materials. The materials consist only of industrial wastes, but a small change in the composition of the materials made by adding 1–4% of CaO or Portland Cement, gives rise to a strengthening of the samples very early. The properties of these newly developed materials allow them to be used as construction materials for different applications: as bases or sub-bases of roads, airfields and dams, instead of the currently used natural crushed stones, gravel and sand. They can also be used to make bricks, tiles and similar items. In addition to economic factors, applications are very easy to use and no new residues are generated.
