摘    要:随着激光技术的发展,偏光器件也越来越得到广泛的运用,消色差波片就是其中用的较多的偏光器件之一。目前激光技术中对消色差波片的要求越来越多,为了适应这种要求,进一步提高消色差波片的性能,减少它的误差,以得到更好的应用。本文通过λ/4和λ/2两个复合石英波片的进行组合的方式,基于琼斯矩阵理论,得出组合后的等效相位延迟量及波片方位之间的关系;借助matlab软件进行模拟仿真和分析,最终实现了1300nm至1600nm这个近红外波段的消色差1/4波片的设计。此设计具有精度高,波长范围宽、选材容易及制作较简单等特点,而最大误差只有0.17%,这对光通信应用是一个不错的选择,此分析方法也为制造出其它材料的性能优良的消色差波片提供了较好地理论依据和一定的参考价值。

Abstract:With the development of laser technology, polarized devices are also more and more widely applied, achromatic wave plate is one of the more polarizing device. Now laser technology requirements achromatic waveplate more, in order to meet this re-quirement, achromatic waveplate further improve performance and reduce its error small, to obtain a better application.An infrared quarter-wave achromatic retarders in the range of 1300-1600nm has been designed by a combination of the two composite quartz wave plate which is a quarter wave-plate and a half wave-plate. The succinct and simple Jones matrix formalism has been used to de-rive the general expression for the relationship between the equivalent retardation of the combinations and the wave plate orientation. And then using matlab software to stimulate. The design has advantages of high precision ,wide range of wavelength, producing with the same material, saving material, manufacturing of simple features and so on. Whereas the maximum variation does not exceed 0.17%, so it is a good choice for the optical communication. This kind of method to produce high performance combination achromat-ic quarter-wave plate with other materials also provides a good theoretical basis.
