| Abstract: | In this paper, The state of the art of precision forging production, forging materials, forging equipments and the key technologies of forging process design and die manufacturing, which are the basic supporting technology for precision forging, are reviewed. A practical integrated system for precision forging has been developed from the point of industrial practice, and the characteristic of the system is introduced. The research trend in precision forging is also discussed finally. |
