Decomposition of H2O2 by Iron Centered Catalysts

The kinetics and mechanism of the catalytic decomposition of H₂O₂ by Fe³⁺ ion, haemin and catalase are discussed. A general mechanism is set up. The kinetic features of the three catalytic systems are discussed in terms of this mechanism.
