Abstract:In order to convert organic sulfur in hot coal gas into H 2S, a commercial Ni-based catalyst is studied under different operating conditions such as operating temperature, space velocity and sulfur content in inlet gas. It is found that the Ni-based catalyst is an effective catalyst for organic sulfur conversion at condition of hot coal gas cleaning up.
