Polymers for the industrial water user

This paper deals with the roles played by synthetic polymers in industrial water treatment practice. Other contributors have covered the use of polymers in such fields as water purification, sewage treatment and mineral separation, and this contribution is mainly confined to the use of polymers in boiler feed water and cooling water treatment.
