高阶色散对光脉冲传输的影响

摘    要:在考虑光纤色散三阶项时,推导出具有初始啁啾的高斯光脉冲沿单模光纤传输时的表达式。以此为基础,讨论了不同色散参量、脉冲宽度对光脉冲形状的影响。采用MATLAB数学软件对理论结果进行了计算。波形分析显示三阶色散项会引起光脉冲形状发生畸变,使波形中心偏向一侧,在这一侧脉冲沿附近形成拖尾振荡结构。三阶色散项数值越大,拖尾越长,畸变越严重。在三阶色散项相同的情况下,输入光脉冲频率越高,输出脉冲的拖尾越长。结果表明,拖尾的大小不仅与三阶色散项有关,也与传输速率有关。

Abstract:The analytic expression is derived by taking into account the third-order dispersion as an initial chirped Gaussian optical pulse propagates along the single-mode. Influence of the pulse shape on dispersion parameter and width of pulse is discussed. The analytic expression is calculated by using MATLAB mathematic software. The results show that the third-order dispersion generates distortion to the pulse shape with an oscillatory structure at one of pulse edges. The bigger the numeric of third-order dispersion is, the more serious the pulse shape distorts. The higher the input frequency is, the longer the trail of pulse is in the same third-order dispersion. The trail of pulse depends not only on third-order dispersion, but also on transmission rate.
