Abstract:This peper presents a numerical model for two-dimensional natural river network which can be well suited for a complex condition of geometric boundary, topographic condition and hydraulic character as well.In this model, the branch computation method with conjoint equilibrium restraints,the patched and shared coupling technique,and the joint spreading process are developed.The applicability of the model was reasonably verified by some calculations.
