| Abstract: | By a blasting method of combining the cutting effect of linear charges with the tearing effect of concentrated charges, the Jinhang ship sunk in the m outh of Mingjiang river in Fuzhou harbor was demolished successfully and the wra cks were removed from waterway In this paper, general blasting scheme, charge weight calculation and priming circuit design were briefly introduced, and the processing and distribution of linear, concentrated and priming charges were exp atiated At the same time, the skock wave and seismic effects from underwater b lasting were reviewed and author's experience from demolition of sunken ship by underwater blasting was outlined |
