DISCUSSION ON REPLACING THICK LAYER OF SILT BY BLASTING |

| Abstract: | The engineering of bank cofferdam of Qianwan town of Shenzhen faced great difficulty in the silt replacement owing to the silt thick exceeding the national critical thickness of 12m.For this reason,the replacement was projected to be carried out by blasting,using feasible blasting equipment,carefully designed replacement parameters and charge structure,and adopting mechanically laying charge and ignition network of electric detonator.The silt replacement reached its ideal effect by the blasting. |
