Abstract:In order to verify the dynamic compression test results of marble after high temperature and explore the numerical simulation method, the method of "reference-calculation-trialcalculation-adjustment" is used to determine the material model parameters of marble after high temperature of different temperature grades. The SHPB test of marble after high temperature is simulated by ANSYS/LS-DYNA numerical simulation software, and the numerical simulation results are compared with the indoor test results. The results show as follow. The numerical simulation results are consistent with the indoor test results. In the process of SHPB test, marble cracks show the trend of development from edge to center, which results from splitting and tensile failure to further failure, and this phenomenon is often neglected because of shorter observation interval. The HJC constitutive model can effectively characterize the physical and mechanical properties of marble specimens. By modifying some of the model parameters, the physical and mechanical parameters of marble samples after different high temperature grades can be effectively described. The effect of temperature damage on the dynamic failure mode of marble specimen is reflected in the fine particle size, and with the increase of treatment temperature, the fine grains of marble also increase after breaking.
