Abstract:Guangxi network's electricity sources structure is not very reasonable. The built hydropower stations have not regulation capacity enough, and the thermal power generating sets have not enough peak load regulation capacity. The network's peak-to-valley defference is getting bigger and bigger. Large amounts of capacity of peak load regulation electricity are urgent needs. The construction of the pumped storage hydroplant is the optimum measurement to solve the problems such as network's peak load regulation and frequency regulation. It is able to reduce abandoned water and peak load regulation electricity loss. It is also the need of the network safe and economical operation.
