| Abstract: | The transfer matrices and stiffness matrices of bar elements with variable cross-section are derived, which include rectangular, box, circular and annular cross-section bars. The fixed-end forces of bar elements in some kinds of common load action are derived also. These matrices and forces are all accurate analytic formulas, which can be used in structural analysis directly, and can be supplied into available computer programs elements storage. |
