Abstract: | An effective and disturbance suppressible controller can be designed by assigning a left eigenstructure (eigenvalues/left
eigenvectors) of a system. In this note, a novel left eigenstructure assignment scheme via Sylvester equation is proposed.
The biorthogonality property between the right and left modal matrices of a system is utilized to develop the scheme. |
