Abstract:Capacitance method is widely applied in the field of on-line water content measurement of crude oil.However,its accuracy was easily affected by temperature and salinity of water in crude oil.In order to quantify the influence of temperature and salinity on water content measurement of crude oil and improve the measurement accuracy,a set of water content measurement system of crude oil based on chip PCAP01 was designed.Independent compensation models of temperature-capacitance and salinity-capacitance were obtained by polynomial fitting.A simplified temperature-salinity compensation model of water content measurement of crude oil with electrode protection sleeve based on capacitance method was established combined with the compensation function of temperature-salinity-dielectric constant of water,which realized online compensation of water content measurement,reducing the measurement error of the water content measurement system under the influence of both temperature and salinity from 4.38%to less than 0.1%and thus effectively improving the accuracy of water content measurement of crude oil.
