| Abstract: | This article expounded the removal mechanism of Biological Active Rapid Filter (BARF). Several factors were discussed which could affect the removal efficiency of BARF, such as preoxidation, filter media, EBCT and backwashing. The superiorities of BARF together with the current situation of the research and development of BARF in the world were introduced, the key problems to be further researched were pointed out. |
