Abstract:This paper outlines the results of analyzing wear and inefficiency of hydraulic pumps under injecting dust condition by means of ferroraphy·The results show that exterior contaminant is a princi pal cause of fault and inefficiency of a hydraulic system in engineering machinery; and that ferrography is an effective monitoring method for hydraulic systems.
