| Abstract: | Some problems about seismic design of shear wall structures of multi storied residence are discussed,such as,the seismic degree of shear wall structure in area of 8 degree intensity,the height of the strengthened part at bottom and thickness of wall section,the height of the first floor of building without basement,the design of restrained edge members.Some problems are provided in the codes,some are not. |
