台湾传统艺术中心位于宜兰县五结乡冬山河下游与台2线省道之间,面积约24hm2,西南方隔冬山河与国际闻名的冬山河亲水公园相望,为推动传统艺术的维护、研究、发展、传习及展演的重要基地.从对宜兰地方环境特质的深刻体验与了解出发,延续先期细部规划的空间语汇要求,以生态地景景观设计手法,进行重现兰阳平原原生林相的营造及着重地表水系循环、涵养的整地工程,追求宜兰地方感的生成,并强调经营具有诗意的技艺传承生活环境的塑造.
