摘    要:用炼油厂石油焦为原料,以KOH为活性剂进行活化制备活性炭,考察了活化温度、活化时间以及活化剂用量对BET比表面积和亚甲基蓝吸附的影响,优化出最佳工艺过程:活化温度为800 ℃,活化时间为1 h,活化剂与石油的用量比为5:1。用双柱定容容量法测定了实验制备活性炭对甲烷的吸附量,与常用活性炭比较,是其吸附量的5 倍左右。

Abstract:Activated carbon was prepared from petrol coke with addition of activating agent at higher temperature. Effects of activating agents, activating agent/coke ratio and activated temperature on methylene blue decolorizing capacity and BET specific surface area were studied. The optimal experimental condition was also obtained.Adsorption isotherms of CH 4 on two kinds of activated carbon (one prepared in our lab and the another prepared in Ningxia activated carbon factory) have been measured by two vessel volumetric method.It was shown that activated carbon in our lab had high BET specific surface area and methylene blue decolorizing capacity.Its CH 4 adsorption capacity is approximately five times as much as that of commercial activated carbon.
