海底光缆护套层故障监测技术

摘    要:海底光缆护套层的故障定位是海缆系统维护工作中的难点,介绍了几种海底光缆的故障测量方法,分析了各自的适用范围和优缺点,建议在海缆故障测量中应采用粗测与精测相结合的方法,并提出了一种基于脉冲反射法的粗测方案。

Abstract:The fault location of submarine fiber optic cable's sheath layer is the difficult point in the maintenance of submarine cable system, several fault detection technologies for submarine fiber optic cables are introduced, and their application range, advantages, disadvantages are analyzed. It is suggested that a method that combines rough measuring with precise measuring should be adopted. Finally a rough measuring method based on pulse reflection is proposed.
