| Abstract: | The reason that 321 Austenitic stainless steel was not C1--initiated pitting-corroded in freezing brine was discussed theoretically. Matters needing attention in manufacturing, operation and maintenance of the stainless steel evaporators used in preparation of freezing brine were proposed. |
