Analysis on the strengths and weaknesses of the graphite electrode industry in China

Through detailed analysis,we made the conclusions that the graphite electrode industry has much greater strengths in R&D,production,equipment,industrial concentration,producing cost,brand,international operations and human resources,as well as obvious competitive weaknesses in constraints of raw material and environment,bargaining power with the upstream and downstream,high-end product development and technological innovation,production overcapacity and corporate performance.Graphite electrodes enterprises in China should make scientific assessment on their own competitive strengths and weaknesses based on combination of environmental analysis,and identify the opportunities and challenges,develop and practice scientific enterprise strategies as well as a sustainable competitive power.
