| Abstract: | A clamped infinite strip of an orthotropic material and containing a semi-infinite crack is considered. The strip is loaded by time-dependent translations of the boundaries and the dynamic stress-intensity factor is obtained using a path independent integral. The solution is found to be of the same form as for the corresponding isotropic case. |
