Application of Neutral Section in Shenmu-Shuozhou Heavy Haul Railway

In order to improve railway operation safety and transportation efficiency,and solve the problems of low switch service life,high failure rate,and obvious randomness of the existing ground controlled live automatic neutral-section passing equipment of Shenmu-Shuozhou Railway,the intelligent neutral section test has been successfully developed and put into use.It uses electronic switch thyristor instead of the vacuum circuit breaker for the ground control live automatic neutral-section passing application,and uses rail axle counter detection system to realize the overall equipment detection accuracy,long service life,low failure rate,short switching-off and switching-on time with no voltage and current impact,so that the train can pass the neutral section without sensing and traction loss.
