小尺寸稳态实验方法在PE管道中的应用

摘    要:介绍了小尺寸稳态实验(简称S4)的实验原理,实验装置,温度及管壁厚度等因素对止裂性能的影响。分析认为:S4是模拟聚乙烯压力管道的快速裂纹扩展的一种有效方法。S4的临界压强是衡量管道承受压力的一个标准。实验先将压强确定为0.4MPa,若裂纹快速扩展,则取其一半,若止裂,则取其2倍,反复6次即可得到所需的临界压强值。

Abstract:This paper introduced the principle and device of the small - scale steady - stale (S4) test and examined the effects of temperature and wall thickness on the tracking resistance of the polyethylene (PE) pipe. The experimental results verify that S4 is an effective method for simulating the rapid crack propagation in the pressure PE pipe and the critical pressure strength can be taken as a standard, of S4 to measure the pressure the testing pipe bears. In the determination of the critical pressure strength, the pressure value is initially preset at 0.4 MPa, and then is reduced by half in case the cracks propagate fast or is doubled in case the cracks stop, the desired value can be acquired by just repeat ing the procedures for 6 times.
