| Abstract: | After i. v, ~(89)Sr-retention in rats showed a sigificant differencebetween the young group and the other two groups, the adult and old groups. but thereis no signifi?nit difference between the latter two groups. The retention fraction for~(89)Sr in the slow compartment of bone in the young group was higher than in the adultor old groups, but effective half-life (T_(e2) in this group was lower than in the lattertwo groups. The whole body dose estimed for young group was 6.0 and 7.0 timeshigher than those of adult and old groups respectively. However the dose of bone inyoung group was 4.7 and 6.9 times higher than those of the latter two groups. |
