The Application of Motivation Theory in the Reform of Teaching Methods in Political and Ideological Class

The issue discussed in this paper is based on the motivation theory in the field of psychology and incentive system theory in the field of management and it focuses on the construction, characteristics and development mode of the college students＇ learning motives. Then it explores the application of motivation theory in the reform of teaching methods by analyzing the current situation of the students＇ inefficiency in learning to help the teachers grasp the students＇ psychological status and study habits. The purpose of doing this is to recognize the students＇ cognitive characteristics so as to innovate the incentive system of ideological and political education to improve the effectiveness of teaching and to optimize the study style of colleges and universities.
