| Abstract: | Dechlorane Plus (DCRP) can be prepared by the reaction of hexachlorocyclopentadiene and 1,5 cyclooctdiene through Diels Alder Reaction, which is a wonderful flame retardant. The factors affecting the reaction have been analysed. The best preparation conditions for the reaction have been described. |
