| 摘 要： | 简要介绍了GPON系统的系统结构和GEM的特点和功能,阐述了GEM封装的帧格式、同步定界以及它的分片机制,最后举例说明了GEM如何对TDM数据和以太帧数据进行封装.

| Abstract: | This paper introduces the architecture of GPON system and the characteristics of GEM(GPON Encapsulation Method),then discusses the frame structure, synchronization and fragmentation of the GEM. At last ,give examples of how to map TDM and Ethernet frames into GEM. |
