Abstract: | The density distribution over the height of a vessel has been investigated in a gravitational field using floats with magnetic suspension. The substance studied was carbon dioxide containing small amounts of added noncondensible gases. It is shown that near the critical point the density distribution over the height of the vessel depends to a large extent on the amount of additive. |
