Pole-changing Characteristics of the Generator-motor of Panjiakou Pumped-storage Units

Panjiakou pumped-storage unit uses pole-changing generator-motor in order to fit for operation mode of greater head variation. By meant of analysing the pole-changing wiring and construction of the stator winding and the rotor winding of the generator-motor, and from beginning with EMF phasor diagram,we analysed carefully the calculating values of winding coefficient, voltage wave shape distortion factor at no load and core vibration of stator, especially put emphasis on studing the special wiring of the winding. This article expounds all-sidedly pole-changing characteristics of Panjiakou units.
