A new approach to the structure at infinity of nonlinear systems

Abstract:
Zeros at infinity for nonlinear systems are defined by using differential algebra. This approach can be viewed as a nonlinear generalization of Silverman's structure algorithm. The connection with the problem of inverting input-output systems is briefly described.
