| Abstract: | By quoting a large number of historical materials,this paper discusses ancient Chinese people's understanding to the physical and chemical properties of raw lacqer and characteristics of lacqer membrane.It also describes the developing process of ancient lacquerware crafts from many unearthed lacquerworks.In the end it illustrates the Chinese People's great contributions to the mankinds in the field of lacquer chemistry. |
