ADO数据访问技术及其在VB中的实现

Active X数据对象（AciveX Data Object，简称ADO）是由微软公司推出的以Active X技术为基础的一组基于OLE DB数据的高级自动化应用层接口，是一种新型的数据访问方法。与微软以前提供的数据访问方法DAO（Data Access Object）、RDO（Remote Data Object）相比，ADO的速度更快、使用更方便、内存占用更少，所以ADO一推出便受到广大用户的青睐，成为数据访问技术的一个发展方向。本文介绍了ADO的对象模型及其在VB中实现数据访问的方法。

ADO Data Access Technology and Its Realization in VB

ActiveX Data Object(ADO), which is pushed by Microso ft Company, is a group of high-quality automatic applicational interface with t he basis of ActiveX technology and OLE DB data. It is a new data access method. Compared with DAO(Data Access Object) and RDO(Remote Data Object) which is pushe d by Microsoft earlier, ADO is faster in speed, easier in use and less memory in holding. So ADO is in many people's good graces as soon as it is pushed and it has become a developing direction of data access technology. The paper intruduce s ADO object model and the method to realize data access in VB.
