| Abstract: | The results of ultrasonic testing on Z-direction steel in Shougang has been introduced in this article. After physical and chemical inspection, metallographic inspection and original-position analysis etc, microcrack in center and the segregation of carbon, which are the main causes of ultrasonic testing disqualification in Z-direction steel have been found. |
