光网络的动态特性与可扩展性

摘    要:光网络正从静态光网络逐步演进为动态和智能的光网络,在演进过程中,光网络的动态特性越来越重要。一些可行的控制管理算法、策略和信令方法在网络规模扩大之后性能会严重恶化,因此光网络的可扩展性越来越受到研究者的重视。动态特性和可扩展性都是网络发展的需求,然而二者在存在一定的相互制约,通过建立分层分域的机制可以有效的环节这种制约,为实现动态特性良好、智能化程度高同时可扩展的光网络提供了可能。

Abstract:With the evolution of traditional static optical networks towards dynamic and intelligent optical networks, the dynamic characteristics play a very important role in networks. Some control and manage strategies, routing algorithms and feasible signaling methods in limited network scales degenerate while the networks scale up. The scalabilities of optical networks become a hot topic in research. The dynamic characteristics and scalabilities both meet the request of network development while there was a tradeoff between dynamic characteristics and scalabilities in optical network engineering. A hierarchical and multi-domain architecture can help dealing with the problem. This architecture is a possible solution to actualize a scalable optical network with better dynamic characteristics and more intelligence.
