| 摘 要： | 在车牌识别系统中，核心问题在于识别牌照中的字符，而其关键又在于文字目标所在区域的定位。研究提出了一种基于灰色理论的改良种子算法，并将其用于车牌定位系统中。实验结果表明，即使在复杂背景及非均匀光照条件下，应用该方法也能准确实时的定位车牌。

| Abstract: | In a license identification system, the core problem is to identify the characters in the license plate, and the key is to locate the area where the characters are in. Therefore an improved algorithm based on the gray system theory is proposed in this paper. The experimental results show that this algorithm can locate the license plate accurately and real time under complicated background variety lighting condition. |
