Mathematical model of the regenerator of a catalytic cracker unit

Abstract:Conclusions It has been shown that the mathematical model worked out for an industrial regenerator yields satisfactory agreement between the calculated and experimental data on the coke content of the catalyst, the oxygen content in the gas, and the temperatures in the various cross-sections of the regenerator.The best value of the preexponential factor of the regeneration rate constant in an industrial apparatus has been determined.Translated from Khimiya i Tekhnologiya Topliv i Masel, No. 8, pp. 41–43, August, 1967.
