摘    要:车牌识别技术(LPR)是智能交通系统(ITS)的重要组成部分,无论从学术方面还是实际应用方面都值得深入地去研究.从提高识别的准确性、实时性和稳定性等方面考虑,提出了一种基于车牌颜色的定位法,基于字符特征的分割法,基于模板匹配的识别法.实验表明,这种算法操作简单、识别率高,具有良好的推广应用前景.

Abstract:License Plate Recognition(LPR),which is worth studying not only in academic field but in the application,is an important part of Intelligent Transportation System(ITS).A location method based on LP colors is proposed to improve accuracy,real time,stability and other aspects,that is one division method based on character features,and one recognition way based on template matching.The experiment shows the algorithm is simple to operate with high discrimination and good prospects for application.
