跨文化视角下英汉间接抱怨语差异及其根源

摘    要:基于跨文化交流及其言语行为理论,对英汉间接抱怨语的实施策略和应答策略进行详细论述,并分析了英汉间接抱怨语的差异根源。在跨文化交际时,改变人们理所当然地以本文化的准则和社会规范作为解释和评价别人行为的标准,以减少交际失败(PragmaticFailure),缩短交际双方的心理差距或社会距离。

Abstract:Based on cross-cultural principles and Speech Act Theory, this paper analyses not only the different implementation and response strategies of indirect complaints between English and Chinese, but the roots that cause these differences as well. In order to reduce communication failure and shorten both the psychological gap and social distance between the communicators, the cultural norms and social standards that people always em- ploy to explain and evaluate other peopleg behaviors should be changed within the context of cross-cultural com- munications.
