Abstract:The all solid-state electrochromic devices with symmetrical structure(SSECD,ITO||PANI||electrolyte ||PANI||ITO) and asymmetric structure(ASECD,ITO||PANI||electrolyte||TiO2||ITO) were prepared by using polyaniline(PANI) as the electrochromic material.Titanium dioxide thin films were prepared by pulling method,and after treated at 500 ℃,the titanium dioxide thin film formed by particles of magnitudes 10~20 nm and the thickness about 200 nm was found presenting as the typical anatase structure and having a good charge storage capacity as well.The in-situ electrochemical UV-visible spectroscopy comparative investigations find that the maximum transmission rate difference(photonic ratio) of ASECD is 43.3%,nearly about twice of SSECD.Besides,ASECD takes on reversible color variation among yellow(-1.4 V),green(0 V) and blue(1.4 V),and has faster coloring/fading response time(0.8 s),can be developed in practical utility.
