| Abstract: | The investigating data and building database framework of MLCA were introduced in detail in China.The environmental load status of the main materials industries, such as cement, coatings, iron and steel, nonferrous metal (aluminum), organic compound, ceramics, etc, were surveyed comprehensively, and the abundant environmental load data about energy source, resource and wastes emissions which predominantly came from our investigated data and statistic data published by the yearbook of different industries of China was accumulated. Based on these data, the data model and database framework of MLCA were systematically studied. The basic framework mainly includes system framework, LCA methodology (e. g. Eqo-indicater99, standard flow), energy consumption,resource input and inventory. Finally, the MLCA databases for several typical materials have been built in term of this framework. At the same time, MLCA software about the data management and LCA evaluation is under developping. |
