Abstract:This paper presents a remote sensing scene classification method based on extended CENTRIST(eCT)texture operator.It consists of three sub-schemes with more neighborhood sizes,and it not only inherits the advantages of CENTRIST,but also encodes the local structure information of more different textures.This method extracted multi-channel image texture features by three different patterns of texture operators,and then used spectral regression discriminant analysis for classification and recognition.In order to obtain higher classification accuracy,a multi-channel eCT fusion mechanism was proposed,which could capture the complementary information in multi-channel images.The experimental results on UC Merced database show that the results obtained by this method are better than CENTRIST,and the robustness is higher.
